Welcome!

Having recently graduated from BA (hons) Graphic Design: Visual Communications at UCA Maidstone; I’m keen to get stuck into the graphic design industry. I’m keen to expand my visual horizons, either working on a freelance project or as part of a team to create something bigger.

I’m really passionate about all aspects of graphic design, my favourite being editorial design. I love the interaction between text and image, and exploring new formats and layouts is something I particularly enjoy.

I’m also a keen photographer and film maker, and I am constantly developing skills in both fields. I really enjoy working with mixed media and combining hand rendered procedures with digital attributes. As a designer I take inspiration from the world around me, for example, an ordinary trip into town is for me a design experience in which I find new inspirations from the choice of type and images used by retailers and merchandisers.

In my spare time I provide vocals for an active rock band, which are well known on the music circuit in Canterbury and the surrounding areas. Due to this aspect of my life I have been able to experiment with branding opportunities within the local music scene. This body of work ranges from promotional ephemera to band merchandise such as album artwork, stickers, badges etc.
